My name is Wendy Lee and I am 23 years-old. I hail from the Pacific Northwest, specifically the coffee capital of the world, Seattle. I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a B.S in Physiology degree with an intention to go to medical school to become a pediatrician. But as life would have it, I’m not totally sure if that is what I really want to do with my life and if God has truly called me to do so. Thus in this transition of student to adult life, I currently work with little kiddos as an assistant teacher at a local center. I love working with children of all abilities and learning from them and in general love to help others.
From my first volunteer trip to Paraguay to my recent mission trip to South Africa, these experiences have led me to join the World Race. Combining my passions to travel and learn about different cultures, while working with locals to better their community, and having a chance to share the good news of Jesus are just a few reasons why I feel God has compelled me to go.
I cannot wait for you to tag alongside me for the adventure!
