Meet Citizens: Chris

If I could describe him in one word it
would be…

 

for school. But then I realized, he really is. It took a while to get to know
him. But he is one of the first closest Canadians that I have ever known.

 

Chris is the so awesome leader of our team. He can make anyone feel
comfortable and even get some laughs out of them. He loves watching movies and
getting the latest Mac electronics. He also likes anime, rap/hip hop music and
playing cards. I would say some of the best memories are when he laughs
really hard, because that in itself that is funny. The best way that he leads
us is by example.

 

Chris has grown so much on the race and I have had
the privilege to watch that. Coming from a quiet life working at a grocery
store, the Lord called him to step up. He has become a man of such boldness.
He doesn’t back down from what he believes and encouraging others. The
Lord has given him a gift of the prophetic and through his boldness he
has stepped into that. The Lord speaks encouragement through him daily. He
seeks growth as he leads us, even if it is as simple as asking ‘how has the
Lord blessed you today?’ He doesn’t like to stay in his weaknesses but seeks to
be strong in Christ.

 

Chris has a passion for leading. He knows the
importance of using his gifts for the body of Christ. He desires to one day
lead others into the radical life of Christ that he has discovered. He has come
from just going through the race to a man who seeks to take advantage of every
opportunity the Lord has given him. That is why we follow him.
