My favorite part of going to church has always the music. It was the easiest way for me to connect as a kid, making it my way of being the most involved with the service. So I’ve decided the best way for me to really share thing on here is through the songs that have inspired me over the years.
And this song made the most sense to me to start.
When I was in vacation bible school as a kid, we talked about Samuel and how God called him in the middle of the night. You never really know when God is going to call you. I had looked into the World Race many times before God gave me the courage to apply. And even after that, I didn’t know if I would go.
But God made it clear to me that this is something that I need to do. He is asking me to go out into the world and spread His message, to bring His peace to people most in need.
So, as the song says, I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.
