A video from my squadmate, Rose Huber, of our time in Honduras.
My squad spent a month in Honduras loving and hanging out with street kids, who were otherwise deemed a lost cause by their communities. We played with them, lovingly corrected them, laughed with them, and encouraged them to pursue opportunities with ambition. We encouraged them by our actions not to give up on themselves like others in their lives had done, but that God had not given up on them and never will.
Honduras is just a portion of the lives we have and will touch this year. But we didn't just touch their lives, they touched ours. And I know there is more of this to come in the next six months (and beyond.)
