It caught me off guard. It humbled me. It helped me face the fact that this walk called faith isn’t one that you walk alone. It is one that you take on with others hand in hand. It the thing you call, Community. Sometimes good true community is something that is hard to come by. But the CHURCH. The church in its full being should be the place, the very place where we long to return to. The church, a small taste of our heavenly home. The church, COMMUNITY that is being surrounded by likeminded and like hearted people. A place that is invaded with worship, filled with prayer, welcoming brokenness, housing the hard conversations, laughter, tears, and honesty, and engulfing in deep love. Community is what the Lord created each of us to live within. To live with, near, and surrounded by one another to grow us in deep relationship with the Lord. It allows us to grow and learn alongside other believers and opens new doors to new perspectives. We were MADE for community. Pouring into others so that others can pour into us for the glory of God. Now what does community do? In Acts 4:32 we are reminded that in full we are of one heart and one soul and that what we own is not ours, so everything that was given to us, we share . I love that “one heart and one soul”, being believers I think it is so amazing being part of one heart and one soul being one community with one goal and mind and one common interest which is Jesus and His mission and our mission to spread His hope to other people and to give Him all the glory. Using what the Lord has given us/you and offering it to others. I think that is what the beautiful thing of church is, being apart of believers and offering what the Lord has given you to offer it to others. All those needs that you have being fulfilled among other believers so that God can be even more amplified and glorified among one another. For me community is loving with that biblical love and walking alongside of others and offering them that outlet to point closer to Jesus. Knowing each other and the needs of others to over that opening of prayer over each other. There is so much purpose around community. It is to live around one another while also aiming to live out that utmost mission of glorifying God and loving on His people. Fellowship is a gift that has been given from God in order to have that opportunity to dive in and strengthen our faith by those that are around us.

“Community does act with purpose

Community does love one another

Community does gather

Community does bear one another burdens

Community does know that hope found in Christ alone

Community does seek to strengthen each other’s faith”
