Where I’ve been…
THE WORLD RACE
I’m currently sitting at a hostel in Boquete, Panama reflecting on this “journey of surrender” that I’ve been on over the last several years. Back in 2016, I never could have imagined what God had in store when I gave my “yes” to go on the World Race. My Race changed the trajectory of my life – I went from what I thought I needed, to living with a “yes” to God and what He has for me. Since my Race, I’ve surrendered my plans to Him and started following wherever His voice leads.
TEACHING IN THAILAND
He took me to Thailand in 2017 where I heard His invitation to “Be still and know”. It was a season of truly receiving and learning the beautiful tension of grace and truth. To really know Him is to know nothing I do can strip His love from me. Receiving His grace and walking in truth is a lifelong journey and I am grateful that as I’ve walked this path, He’s never left me. In fact, He’s called me into deeper intimacy with Him which has transformed how I live my day to day.
In April of 2018, I had an encounter with God that led me to apply to G42 Leadership Academy following my year teaching contract in Bangkok.
G42 LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
G42 Leadership Academy is a nine month training program located in Mijas, Spain, focused on a transformative curriculum of equipping leaders who are passionate about establishing the Kingdom of God on Earth. I’ve been at G42 since March 2019 and can testify that it has truly changed my life. I’ve seen myself step out more confidently in faith and been witness to God moving around the globe. The transformative power of His love is what “bringing the Kingdom” is all about and participating in this fight for freedom has been nothing short of miraculous.
Where I’m going…
Other responsibilities as an ASQL include;
- Leading the squad from a place of my own personal growth with the Lord
- Casting and communicating vision with the other ASQL’s to assist in leading World Racers in their spiritual and physical journey
- Supporting Team Leaders, who are responsible for leading groups of 5-8 young adults, as they navigate ministry and their own spiritual walk in countries around the world
- Overseeing the squad budget to ensure accurate and appropriate use of funds for lodging, food, local and long distance transportation
With these amazing experiences and people that I’ve been able to live life with, the Lord has and continues to show what it means to truly rely on Him.
One huge way to rely on Him is with provision. To have been on the mission field with V-Squad these last three months, and to join them again this upcoming December, I need a total of $4,000 to account for these 4 months of lodging, food and travel.
I believe God is calling people to partner with me in these experiences to show love to each and every person I come into contact with.
