I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
Psalm 145:1-2
Lord, I exalt you. I give you thanks and praise. Everyday, your name for ever and ever.
One generation commends your kingdom to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
Psalm 145:4-7
Lord make it a part of my daily existence to tell of Your amazing works. Be it big or small in my eyes, they are all Your works and all must be told. In a world of attacks from doubts and critics, it is my job as a Racer, our jobs as Racers to put the word and works of this Kingdom out there. We put it out there because it is another possible way to allow Christ to work. A way for Him to touch someone’s heart in a time of need. A way for Him to silence the doubts and the critics!
The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
Psalm 145:8-9
Lord I thank you for your graciousness, for your compassion. I thank you for the fact that you are slow to anger, that you allow me to fail and fall short over and over and over. You allow me the time to fall away and are always there with open arms when I come running back to You. I thank You for Your goodness in every situation. I pray that I will live everyday in thankfulness of who You are as God. You are gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and good. I pray I will live to notice these things about You God, for ever and ever.
