So here I am once again posting on this blog, I’ve prayed and waited for this day!! Yet it’s taken me almost two months to write anything new on here, every time I’ve sat down to write this post I get so in my head and find myself feeling so defeated! Honestly I’m scared.. I was so sure last time that when I failed it almost broke me!! So this time I told myself I wasn’t gonna post anything on here till I was 100% certain that this was Gods will and that this was gonna happen!!!
A couple months ago this opportunity kinda just fell into my lap, and after Lots of prayer and talking it all over with close friends and family I came to the decision that this is the next step for my life!!
When I first sat down to once again fill out the long application for this trip one of my first thoughts was “What if I fail again!? I don’t think I can go through that again!!”. But here I am, and I’m gonna give it all to God and let him work through me! I’m not gonna beg for money, but I will beg for prayers and support!! You all may not agree with what I’m doing with my life and that’s okay, it’s taken me a long time to be okay with that fact but I am!! Now with all that being said here is some details about my upcoming missions trip to Peru!!
I know that a few weeks back I made an announcement that I would be going to Thailand and Cambodia for 3 months, well God had other plans!! Now I’ll be leaving the end of January to spend 3 whole months in Peru!!! During that 3 months I’ll be partnering with a local ministry working to build relationships with the locals and lead bible studies, children’s programs and women’s ministry!! I’m already well on my way to reaching my financial goal for this trip, and have already begun to see God working in and hopefully through me! I’m so excited to have this opportunity to serve God somewhere I could have never imagined going!! Please join me in praying over this trip, and if you feel God leading you to give you know how!!
Once I finally work up the courage to hit that post button y’all won’t be able to stop me from talking about this trip!!
