Hi Friends!
I know it’s halfway through January, but… Happy New Year! It’s so crazy, and a little scary, to think about all that this year is going to bring. For one, I’m going to graduate high school, that’s a biggie. I’ll be 18 in March, officially an adult. Pretty weird to think about. But the craziest of all, in September, I’ll be leaving to spend the next 9 months in eSwatini, Ethiopia, and Cambodia sharing the love of Jesus alongside 40 other young adults. It’s almost hard to believe. I’ll be doing that THIS YEAR. It feels more real every day. With all the emotions running around this year of growing up and trying to figure out who I’m going to be, I’m so thankful that God has led me to the World Race and shown me how he is going to use me. I have full confidence and assurance in the Lord, knowing that as I walk in faith of where He is calling me, He will also provide everything I need. Through this trust, I am asking friends and family to reach out and walk alongside this journey with me.
I would love to ask you to pray about supporting me financially. In this, not only would you be partnering with me, but you would be partnering with the Father in the calling of bringing Christ’s love to some of the most unreached places in the world. I need to raise $15,800 by January 15th, 2021 to cover my transportation, accommodations, training, leadership and advisors. Every one of Christ’s followers is called to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16 – 18), even though that might look different for different people. God might not be calling you to Africa right now, but maybe He is calling you to equip someone who is. You would be equipping me to serve others and share the love of Christ in eSwatini, Ethiopia, and Cambodia. You could help send me on this amazing adventure God has called me on.
Speaking of, I’m excited to announce my first fundraiser of the year! It’s called an Adopt-A-Box. You can choose to “adopt” a box by donating the amount of money of the number of the box. For example, if you chose box #17, you’d donate $17, or if you chose box #42, you’d donate $42. It’s pretty simple. I’ll have more fundraisers throughout this journey so be sure to keep an eye out for them!
