The past week I have been hesitant to listen to the Lord. In fear of what he wanted me to blog about and that it might seemed bias. I came to a sudden realization that I was only being hesitant because it was scary to write about, it was out of my comfort zone and because I was afraid of how he might move in me. Afraid of what he might ask me to say. The Lord put something huge in my heart to share. These are the times when the enemy likes to keep me comfortable, and safe with my writings, and instill in me fear and doubt and that I shouldn’t share a specific message but I felt it was time to fight the urge to be safe in my writings for I am only typing what the lord has spoken to me and we are commanded to listen to him.
So here it is, this one is for you LADIES…..
Proverbs 12:4
A worthy wife is a crown for her husband, but a disgraceful woman is like cancer in his bones.
All you ladies out there that feel lost, your friends are finding that perfect boyfriend, getting married having kids starting their life and you feel just left behind you feel like your life is going in every direction but in the direction of finding your “soul mate” I am here to tell you celebrating your singleness does not mean you’ll be single forever, it simply means surrendering to where god has you now in your life.
God knows your situation. He knows whether you are happy as a single Christian or not. He knows how you are feeling and the worries and frustrations you may have. I sometimes thought it would be good if God had just told me I would one day meet my husband, then I would have been content in that fact. But God doesn’t work like that, and we need to trust Him that he has the best plans for us. He wants us to trust in Him. It maybe that you will be single all of your life, or only for a season but remember…
‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ (Jeremiah 29:11)
The most important thing to know is that God loves you and wants you to focus all your attention on your relationship with Him. It is when we focus our attention on Jesus and trust Him that we find contentment.
Male or female should ever have to compromise what they know they deserve or the desires of their hearts. Just like in the book of Daniel, Daniel prayed faithfully in a kneeling manor 3 times a day he was faithful to god and he never compromised his commitment to prayer. This is how we should live deciding a path we are taken, knowing in our hearts the things we desire and by fallowing the lord he will give you the desires of your heart according to Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
So if you’re holding on to something that you know you need to let go now’s the time,
For Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us that
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, “declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” we know that the plans god has for us are bigger than our own, and we are of no right to try and justify the way god is moving in our life.
Sometimes we feel like god is silent like we are not being heard… Silent times are often God’s means of preparation for something greater. Think about the story of Lazarus. The Lord delayed for good reason: instead of healing an illness, He was planning to raise His friend to life. In that way, He accomplished His Father’s will and brought Him glory (John 11: 11-15). That incident convinced many of the Jews that Jesus was their Messiah (John 11:41-45). God’s silence is never random or indifferent. Every time He’s quiet, He has a good reason. It could be that . . . We’re not ready to listen. Sometimes the problem is not God’s silence, but our inability to hear. If we’re so caught up in this world and all its incentives, our ears won’t be tuned for His voice. He could be shouting, and we still wouldn’t hear Him.
So if god has you in this waiting season of your life, embrace it draw near to him, seek first the kingdom of god and you will find peace that surpasses all understanding.

“I will move ahead, bold and confident, Taking every step in obedience, While I’m waiting I will serve You, While I’m waiting I will worship, While I’m waiting I will not faint, I’ll be running the race, Even while I wait.”
