Transition. It’s something I’ve experienced so many times in my life. It continues to be difficult, and it continues to be a learning experience. I feel such a mix of emotions as I think about leaving the Philippines today. God has taught me so much. He has taught me that ministry is a way of life, not just a task I must complete for so many hours each day. He has taught me to fight for relationships even when they are not natural or easy. He has taught me about humility, love, perseverance, and so many other things.

The past several days my squad has been at debrief, which has been great. We formed new teams, which I’m very excited about. On my new team are Grace Pritt, Alissa Cunningham, Courtney Peterson, Andrew Brunette, and Will Petersen. They are all awesome people and great disciples of Christ. I believe God can do some incredible things through us. You can follow our team’s whole journey by following their blogs too!

In Swaziland I will spend my first 30 days at El Shaddai Children’s Home. This is NOT the same place that I was during my last Swazi trip, and I’m so excited to experience a new place. After the first 30 days, I will probably change to a new location in Swazi. The website for this ministry is elshaddaiswazi.org. There you can see more of what I’ll be doing and who I’ll be working with.

I am incredibly excited for all that God can do with the next three months. The amazing thing is that I know He can exceed all my expectations!

Pray for our new team as we get to know each other and start doing ministry together. Pray for safety and perseverance during our travels. Pray for close relationships with the children at the El Shaddai and all the other people we will meet. Ultimately, pray that the Spirit of God would live through me and through everyone on our squad.

Thank you, everyone, for all your support and prayer. God is truly using your prayer, using me, using my squad….all to further His Kingdom and His glory! Praise Him!
