Dear Family and Friends,
As most of you know, Drew and I have both felt called to long-term missions for a long time. We are going on a unique mission trip that is 11 countries in 11 months doing tons of different types of ministries. Our heart is to do everything for the Lord, and be obedient to what He has called us to. Ex., we are both in nursing solely to help us on the mission field. Our vision is that this trip will expose us to the different ways we can serve the Lord on the mission field and hopefully at the end know where we feel called long-term and to know what kind of ministry He created us to do. We expect it to be exciting, challenging, VERY STRETCHING, uncomfortable at times, and most of all to learn to lean completely on the Lord- because we know how inadequate we are without Him.
We wanted to write you to let you know about some new things that are going on in our lives. Most of you know that I (Maggie) have been working as a nurse at WK Bossier, learning a lot!!! Drew graduates in nursing in December!!! Hurray!!!! Finally, we have been accepted to go on the World Race in July of 2013!! !

We will serve as missionaries through an organization, Adventures in Missions, in their World Race program. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. God has given us broken hearts for the needy and we want to proclaim the good news of Jesus to a lost and dying world. Every day we are realizing how short our time is here and that He is worth giving our everything to. On the World Race, our team will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
Where in the WORLD are we going??? Ukraine, Romania, Taiwan, Thailand, Cambodia, Ireland, Swaziland, Mozambique, South Africa, India and Nepal. We are so grateful for this opportunity that God has given us, and know that He will provide for our needs! We are writing to you to ask if you would for sure add us to your prayer list! We have both done missions and cannot express enough how much power there is in prayer and that we NEED them! Spiritual warfare is real and there are times we can look back and remember actually feeling that people were praying for us!
We would also like you to prayerfully consider partnering financially with us in our ministry. We are working hard and saving as much as possible. Our goal is to save at least 50% of the total amount ourselves. If you feel led you can give a one time contribution or pledge a certain amount per month. No amount is too small!
We are selling t-shirts and bracelets to help fundraise. T-shirts are $20 and the bracelets are $4 each! The T-shirts are custom designed;the process works through pre-orders, so we’ll collect the money and information from everyone interested and then send in the order to get the shirts.They are charcoal grey. On the front are the continents made up of the countries we are going to and Matt 25:40, and on the back is the list of countries we are going to and our blog drewandmaggiedinsmore.theworldrace.org.It comes in sizes from S – XXL. The bracelets have “ BEAUTIFUL FEET” with foot prints and Isaiah 52:7 which states, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news,who proclaim peace,who bring good tidings,who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”It is also referenced in Romans 10: 1-15 when it says “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”God has really put this scripture on our hearts!
