We came to Zambia to Encourage, we came to Empower, and we came to Love. We are leaving Zambia empowered, encouraged, and loved. Our contacts in Chipata Martha and Jeffry and all of our wonderful translators that we can now call friends were so amazing and welcomed us with open arms. We met a family, the Jaloweic’s, who are missionaries from New York; who gave up everything they knew to serve the Lord in Zambia long-term. This incredible family took in 20 strangers and poured their love on us. They opened their home to us, fed us, shared stories with us but most of all encouraged and empowered us to continue to do the works of the Lord. Thank you all for your generosity and inspiration! We will miss Zambia and all the amazing people the Lord blessed us with will always have a special place in my heart and prayers!
Our debrief in Malawi was spent camping at a hostel. It was a time of REST, REJUVENATION, REFLECTION, REVIVAL, and CELEBRATION. Our coaches (Matt and Cindy), our Squad Mentor (Renee), our Logistics Coordinator (Drew), our trainer (Brian) and the WR media crew (Brody, Emily, and Jonfrank) all traveled to Malawi to help build us up and support us. Thank you all for your love and dedication. My squad and I will now all be spending the month together serving the Lord in Senga Bay, Malawi together. We are refreshed and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us.
