Just thought I would update of all the support raising chances i get to have in the coming month
One thing i am aware of with other world racers is tryin to just basically figure out…how in the world to raise like $15,000?!….thats a lot of money for anyone to get together
one main idea i come across is basically tellin as many folks as possible and the best way i know is to share with a church congregation in some sort of way….i’ve called and asked so many of my friends who may know/work with pastors, if they have a bible study i could share with, or businessmen whom they know might be able to help me out…that’s the angle i’m takin in raising support….along with maybe a few other ideas
I have called so many people it’s ridiculous, and i thank all my friends, pastors, and others i’ve spoken with for lettin me ask if there was any way or idea to share with people they knew.
I was able to speak today (sunday the 6th) at a church here in Valdosta called The Gathering at a mens breakfast, and i’m very very thankful for that chance and just the….i guess one would say the southern hospitality….i really appreciated it…thanks to my buddy Lee Green givin me some ideas and chances of who and where to speak at
June 20th i get to speak at a UMC in Thomasville, GA and at a youth group up in Warner Robins…thanks to my friend Charlie and Brother Allen
June 27th i get to speak at Lake Park UMC…big thanks to my friend Austin and Rev. Warnock
on June 30th i get a chance to speak at the Moultrie UMC…thanks to Brother Hale!
OH!..i get a chance to share about the trip on a local christian talk radio station 101.1 WAFT of Valdosta, GA on June 8th via a phone Interview……so happy about that and big thanks to Mr. Bill Tidwell
So as one can see, I’ve got a decent amount of things lined up, but still needing more..not in a greedy way. Other avenues have opened up to where i may still be able to speak, and will continue pursuing those and any other ideas which come up in the future.
One last thing…im in the plans of havin a big ol benefit concert on August 27th in Valdosta…plans are Still in the making, but are looking promising
