Im writing this blog in a tent in Ireland (The first time I used my tent!) Praise God I got the 20 degree sleeping bag! The first night here we all woke up at 3am freezing. God is good. It hasn’t been that cold since. Sunday our team left the comforts of the hostel and met up with the rest of our squad at a campsite outside of Dublin for The Awakening. This is a conference for all the world racers on the field to come together and get fed some meat and to get awakened! (One squad is going home after this and a girl gave me 2 months supply of Malaria medication! I didn’t bring any with me! Praise God!) God moved so much this week! He revealed some things to me about myself and where He is taking me next in our relationship. Im so in love with Him!
Thursday night was the last night of The Awakening and Friday morning squad debrief began. This debrief was heartbreaking because it meant team changes. I tried to prepare myself and start the grieving process the week before but it was still hard. Lovesick514 was an amazing family with the most beautiful men and women of God. Everyone on this team has a passion for God and desires to go deeper in Him. God responded to their desire. Im a blessed woman to get to see God do amazing things in and through these men and women. The beautiful thing is that God is just getting started!! Although Im going to miss them like crazy Im so excited for them! I know Gods plans are bigger and better so I can’t wait to see what God has next for them!! I love you Lovesick514!!
While Im still grieving Im celebrating! God has placed me on an amazing new team! Im excited to dig deep and bond with them. I can’t wait to see where God takes us individually and as a team. He placed us together for a time such as this. He has a purpose and I can’t wait to walk in it with them. Once we get a team name I will let you know what it is and introduce my new family to you.
Monday morning at 7am we are leaving Dublin for Kenya!! Africa here we come! This will be our fourth country on the race. Please be in prayer for support.
