When I started raising support for my mission trip to India in 2012, I had no clue how I was going to raise $3,500. I felt it an impossible feat. Seriously, how was I to raise that much money?!?

Of course it was a struggle. I made it all about me. I went into it with the wrong attitude. But God managed to provide, despite my failings.

Six months after that mission trip I was fully planning on going back to India with Southeast Christian, I began with a better heart. One of prayer and reliance on the Father. I had no more fear.

Then The Lord spoke up… I was not going back to India. Not yet. I was initially devastated. I wanted to go back to the place that stole my heart and brought me life again. But as I would learn, The Lord had other plans. I was going on the World Race. Funny part was, I was no longer aiming to raise around $3,000. I was looking to support raise over $16,000!

I knew this would be challenging. But I had faith in something more powerful than my own weaknesses. It was a slow start. I wrote more letters at one time than I had ever done, but news of my mission soon spread. People I barely knew donated. Some I didn’t know donated. I was in awe and thanksgiving!!! God was moving in people’s hearts and they felt called to give so that I may GO

Deadline after deadline past and my goals were met. I prayed to be fully funded by the time I left America… And I was!!

Before I left Central America, my final donation came in sending me over my $16,254 mark of fully funded! God used so many of you to inspire this journey of hating his love around the world! Because of your financial contributions and your prayers I will stay on the race!

Thank you Jesus. Thank you for showing what true humility is as you laid your life at the cross. That you saved me from my sins. That you spoke to me. That you allowed me to listen. Without your words, I wouldn’t be where I am today. You continue to bless me and you continue to leave me in awe at your power. I see healings everywhere I go. I feel your presence daily. You grace and mercy abound. Your love permeates.

Thanks to my family who has always supported me in all I do! I have been immeasurably blessed by you.

Thanks to my friends and their families. Throughout my life God had placed the most beautiful, loving friends before me; I couldn’t be more thankful.

Thank you, anonymous donors. I don’t know who you are but The Lord does. Your donations brought me joy and elation, and I thank you!

Humbly I ask for your continued prayers. They mean more than you know!

Happy to serve and grateful to do so,

Amy
