People, no matter the age, I simply love them.
I’m Amy Duncan, a 25 year old, born and raised in good old Indiana. I’ve always been surrounded by some amazing people, from family members to friends. I have two beautiful nephews and one amazing niece. I’m simply blessed. I graduated from Anderson University with a major in Family Science and a minor in Christian Ministries. Funny thing is, before I even went to college, I knew without a doubt that I would always be involved in some type of ministry. Crazy how God works!
While in college, I had the opportunity to take part in their amazing mission’s program called TRI-S (Study, Serve Share), as well as Track and Field. Between the two of these and school work, I was always on the go. Throughout my four years, I went on a total of 5 different trips to 3 different places: Peru, Guatemala, and Greece. The first time I stepped foot in Guatemala my Junior year, I knew that I had found another home. Every time I go back (5 thus far), God never ceases to amaze me. Over Thanksgiving, I went on “vacation” with another friend to Haiti to visit our friends who were teachers in Port Au Prince pre-earthquake. It was incredible! I got to see the ins and outs of mission work as well as visit 5 different orphanges. 
I just can’t get enough of traveling and doing God’s work.
I am currently a Mission Director at a church as well as a sprint coach for Track and Field at a university in Anderson, Indiana. James 1:27 is one of my all time favorite verses. I love people, but am extremely inclined to those less fortunate than me-espeically children. I’m always up for a good adventure and enjoy the great OUTDOORS.
