Allie was a loving, kind, smart, beautiful, cherished daughter of our bigger than big God. She would go out of her way to make sure that someone was okay even if she didn’t’ know them. She put others before herself in all circumstances. Her friends will tell you, Allie wasn’t the same as other girls her age. Her heart, her faith, her perseverance; everything about her was above and beyond.
Allie’s fight wasn’t easy, but her attitude was a testimony of her faith, and she put up one heck of a fight. With each trial and complication, all the suffering she endured, Allie exhibited more faith in and faithfulness to her divine Creator. She was an example, not only to people her age, but to all people. Her story will live on. And she will always be remembered.
Some battles are meant to be won and some to be lost. This precious girl did both. Allie may have lost the battle to her sickness, but she won the battle against the world. She lived a Christ-like life and she will forever be held in the loving arms of The Lord. Allie took the turn towards eternal life with Jesus on September 29. She may be gone from this world, but she will forever be in our hearts.
Rest peacefully, beautiful girl. We love you!
