My team is safely in Cambodia already in the swing of month 10 of the Race.  Can you believe it? Month 10!  It seems like just yesterday we started this crazy adventure and now it’s almost over.  It’s only been a few days, but it’s been full of surprises so far.  Here are just a few of them to let you know what’s going on with my team.

Surprise!  Team Relentless has no Cambodian contact to work with.  We were supposed to be working with a couple in Phnom Pehn at Cambodian Mission Outreach, but it fell through the day that we were supposed to go to them.

Surprise!  We will be staying in Siem Reap doing another Ask the Lord month to see what there is for us this month.  There is a possibility that we will be set up with a contact soon, but it doesn’t look likely.

Surprise! Here’s your flight information for home! It’s across the country from where you expected it to be.  We will be flying into NYC at JFK Airport on December 7, 2013 instead of LAX like everyone thought.

All of these things, much to my surprise didn’t affect me the way that they would have a few months ago.  Before this, I would have gone into a panicked frenzy freaking out about what we were going to do, upset that I didn’t have time to prepare myself for an ATL moth, or angry that I didn’t get what I expected.  Now, it’s completely fine.  I might have some freak out moments here and there, but for the most part I’m ok with it.  Things not going according to plan are not the end of the world.  I don’t need to know everything a week in advance.  The world won’t end if I don’t get to pencil in everything that we do every day.

Please keep me and my team in your prayers this month as we’re still working on finding a ministry to partner with or direction for our month.

I’m also still in need of $1800 to be fully funded for my Race.  Please consider donating to me by clicking the “Support Me” tab on the left side of the page.  Thanks!
