First & foremost, my apologies for my failure to blog more frequently!  Life has been crazy fun but BUSY of late!  June has been packed full of time spent with loved ones, finishing a few more credits towards my B.S. in sociology, nannying for all of my munchkins, and lots more squeezed in between πŸ™‚  Here is a little glimpse at my past month!

June 8th, my baby brother Harrison GRADUATED from Horlick High School!  He is heading off to Marquette in the fall, planning on focusing on computer science!

June 9th I began nannying full time between two lovely families!  Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I’m with Drew (8) & Dane (12) who both love all things sports, nerf guns, and video games.  Wednesdays and Fridays I am with Bertrand (1.5), Lola (5), and Sebastian (7).  These three love arts & crafts, swimming, Star Wars, and My Little Pony.

June 14th some sweet neighbors (The Hansons) participated in my neighborhood rummage sale & pledged to give me HALF of their proceeds that day!  How did I get so lucky?  Below is a few of the sweet little ones who worked hard all day at cookie and lemonade sales πŸ™‚ Please note the awesome signs.

June 15th was Father’s Day!  I got to celebrate the world’s best dad with my family while tailgating at the brewers game!

June 19th I finished my 3 credit African Studies class, leaving me with just 3 more little credits until I have officially completed ALL of my degree requirements!  In one last online class now πŸ™‚

June 23rd was my $9,000 deadline which I met by the grace of God through EACH OF YOU! Your prayers and gifts have blessed me beyond words.

June 26th I video chatted with some of my future teammates and best friends.  Our time was filled with joy, chatting, and silly faces, of course.

The evening of June 27th was filled with celebrations of a dear friend & soon-to-be bride, Maison. We sipped on sangria, showered her with special gifts, & celebrated her!

June 29th was Madison’s annual Rhythm & Booms Fourth of July celebration!  Friends & I headed down to the lake for a night of a water ski show, visiting lakeside, & eventually watching what was maybe the best fireworks show I have ever seen!  My heart was so full of joy & thankfulness for the freedoms we have in our country.

Just one final update on funding status & what’s in store for me coming up πŸ™‚ I am officially 76% FUNDED, with over $9,500 WOW.  I cannot get over the outpouring of love and support I have received.  This means I will be heading to Atlanta, GA July 19th to the 26th for World Race Training Camp!  Here I will receive my exact placement for my nine months, bond with my team, and prepare my heart and mind for my year of ministry!  My next & FINAL support deadline is August 18th, leaving me with a little under 2 months to raise $3,000.  My God is way bigger than $3,000.  Way, way bigger.
