Hey there party peeps! I’m gonna tell you about an activity we did at training camp. Lots of the things we did were team building activities and we did this one where we all sat in a circle and closed our eyes. They told our leader to tap someone on the shoulder and they told us to just sit and ask God what he wants to say to said person. Remember, our eyes are closed so only God could give us the words to say. As soon as our leader would tap someone a song would pop into my head and I would just be like, “OK God, give me some words now. Little did I know that the song lyrics I heard were the words he was trying to speak to me, so we’re just going and once one person would say something it would align with the song lyrics that would be playing in my head. It was honestly one of the coolest things ever. God was speaking to me through songs. I’ve always connected with music, I just never thought he would speak to me through it. I just thought that was too awesome not to share!
