“When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?”     – Psalm 8:3-4

Who am I, that God would choose to love me? What have I done? What makes me so special that the Creator of the universe looked at me and said, “This one. I choose her, to love her, to create her and give her a place in this world, to be my daughter.”

“In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”    – 1 John 4:10

To whoever is reading this blog, I may not know you personally, but one thing I do know. God loves you. When He created you, He looked at you and said, “This one. I choose to create this one, to be made in my image. To be given a place in this world. To be made perfect. This one… I love this one.”

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”    – John 3:16

Even in all our sin. Even when we chose not to love Him. God sent His son to die for us, to pay the price for our sins. So that if we would just believe in him, we would be saved and our relationship with the Creator of the universe would be restored.

I just want you to know that no matter who you are or what you may think about yourself. No matter how lost you think you are. God sees you. He’s with you and He loves you. Even when you sin, when you’re sure you’ve messed up too much. God looks at you, picks you up in His arms, smiles and says, “This one… I love this one.”
