“A picture is worth 1000 words..” is a phrase I’ve heard my entire life. I never really paid much attention to it, but since I’ve been in Greece I have grown fond of it.

For the past month my friends and family have asked what being at the refugee camp was like, and as much as I tried I couldn’t find the right words. Even now there’s a lot I still can’t form words to.

So for now I’ll just show you…

My team and I worked at a camp named after the town it is located in, Idomeni. Except that Idomeni isn’t even an official camp. When the borders shut down the refugees got stuck and had no choice but to stay there. So now over 13,000 people live in an area that is only equipped for 1,500.

The things I’ve seen and experience this month have been incredible! I’ve had the opportunity to see God move in amazing way. So where these pictures come from stories are soon to follow. Stay tuned!
