My name is Alexis Paige Anderson. I work as a denial assistant out in Redlands, California. In the future I plan on becoming a Dental Hygienist. I am 22 years old. I will be 23 when I start the race! I don’t have many hobbies but I do love the company of my friends and family. I am a child of God. I was always raised as a christian but not until about 8th grade did I open my heart for Jesus Christ. It was the most freeing feeling to have him enter my life. Having a heavenly father who loves you no matter what is something that nobody can take away from me. He inspires me everyday to be better than the person I was yesterday.
At this time in my life I feel that I need to do more for Christ. To be selfless. To go out & seek more! To go and help people with less than I. I have been so consumed with worldly things that I find myself wanting more when I already have more than most. So I chose to go out & find something that will take me out of my comfort zone as well as build my relationship with God. It was then that I came upon the World Race. & let me tell you… I couldn’t be more excited to start this incredible journey.
This trip will not only change me & the people I come in contact with while I am on the race. But it will change my LIFE! (:
