Saying yes to new adventures is not always easy, it means sacrifice, it means diving into the deep waters and not really knowing what may happen. This week, I felt Papa calling me to a new adventure, He asked me to take a risk and say yes, promising me that He would provide (like always). How could I say no to that, right?
I will still be taking a gap year with the World Race, however, I will no longer be going to Thailand, Malawi, and Guatemala starting in October. Instead, I will be leaving in September to go to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Nepal, Ethiopia, and the Philippines.
This switch was not easy. My old squad had become family, the thought of the 3 countries became home. But, as hard as those feelings are, there is no denying Papa’s gentle desire to have me jump and trust that I will be caught. So, here I am, blindly jumping into the waves, knowing that something so beautiful with my new squad in these new countries is coming.
I am beyond blessed by the people that have and continue to love and fill me up from all squads on the Race, and I am so excited to begin this journey with my new family, and continue it with my old.
That being said, this new route means an extra $1,000 one month sooner. I fully believe that every penny will be provided, but I need your help. Every bit of support helps, so please do not hesitate in giving whatever and however you feel called! Thank you all for the constant love and support.
He is a good good Father and this is a good, good life.
