It's time for a World Race account update!
This past Thursday I had my root beer float fundraiser. Although it rained all day and we were forced to move it indoors, it was very fun and very successful! We had very tasty floats, fun conversations, a sold out raffle, and a fun photo booth! I even got to meet my first squadmate, Melanie! The fundraiser raised $795 for my account, bringing my current total to $2,178.14!
I'm so very thankful for all of you that have donated and helped me reach this point so far. I can't tell you how very thankful I am for every one of you.
I'm currently $1,321.86 short of the first deadline. I have less than 2 weeks to raise this amount or I cannot go to training camp, or launch in January, and will have to be deferred to a July 2013 route.
