Note: I will be mailing these out next week…but wanted to go ahead and post it on here for for time-sake, and for those I may not be able to get addresses for. 🙂

Dear Family and Friends,

I hope this letter finds you well. I would like to share some exciting news and let you know what is going on in my life recently! God has big plans in store for the coming year!

For several years I have felt called to live out a life of missions, and I have recently been accepted to participate in an amazing missions opportunity! Beginning in January 2014 I will be serving as a missionary through an organization, Adventures In Missions (AIM), in their World Race program. The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. I will be traveling to South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Ireland, Ukraine, and Romania!

Every day on the World Race will be different, but ultimately my team and I will be serving churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in human trafficking, and bring restoration and hope to many tribes and nations. This will also be a very personal journey for me as well, as I draw even closer to the Lord through these works and grow in my spiritual walk. My goal is to change and be changed!

I am so grateful for this opportunity and trust that God will provide for my needs! This trip won’t come without some challenges though, so I would like to ask you to consider partnering with me in my ministry, both prayerfully and financially. Please pray that the Lord prepares me and my fellow squad and team members for the journey that lies ahead; also pray for the countries we will be visiting and the people we will be ministering to. Financially, I must raise $15,500, which covers all of my expenses on the field (training camp, travel, housing, and food). This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as a monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount, beginning and end dates. (Note: If 25 people pledge $50 a month for 12 months, I would have almost 100% of the funds necessary for my trip!)

I have enclosed a response card for you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions and return the response card with your donation to: Adventures In Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA, 30353-4470. AIM will send you a receipt for your donation. If you would prefer to make your donation online, you can visit my blog site at aleisamifflin.theworldrace.org. Just click the “Support Me!” link on the left-hand side of the page and complete your donation as instructed (and please feel free to follow my blog along my World Race)!

I am extremely excited to see how God will move in my life and in the lives of others in the coming year. I want to thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support. May God bless you as you prayerfully consider partnering with me in this amazing journey!

In Christ,

Aleisa Mifflin
