ECUADOR

Our ministry in Ecuador was awesome. We were able to biult a lot of relationships with the kids and the people who work in the ministry. I feel that relational ministry is the best because you get to know people in a deeper level and they open to you. This month I could not only relate with the people of the ministry I also could relate with the people from were we lived at and see how God work in there lives.

COVIkids at risk

Tamarita.
She is a beautiful godly women. We all were so excited to work with her. She is a missionary in her own country and she is doing amazing things in COVI through Christ. God gave her a heart for kids that live in the streets or are maltreated as childs. So she works all day long in COVI taking care of them, teaching them about who Jesus is and all the values we can have from him. Kids respect her and listen to her and all the wisdom she had to share with them. I love watching her interact with this kids.

Please pray for this beautiful women so that God will speak to her at all that and not only that pray so that God would us her as the most beautiful instrument Jesus had make.

Doña Mari.
She cooks for the kids. Part of the ministry they have in CoVI is to feed this kids because most of the times they dont have any food so COVI provides for them. She cooks amazing meals and BIG ones which she make them with so much JOY and LOVE the best ingredients! She cooks every day for about 50 kids ish + the people who work and volunteer at the school. We help her cook a lot of the times and my favorite thing to help her do was the juice. It was so good and we make  random fruits there was this fruit that was a tomato that was weird! I was able to make good conversations with her and she always was so happy that we help her.

Please pray for her and her two sons. She doesnt have a husband so pray so that God would provide for her needs. Also she told me that her kids study a lot and have excelent grades so pray that would help them in the future for college.

Tamarita and Doña Mari are the two ladies in charge of COVI and are always there at all time!

Esteban.

Esteban is the psychology of COVi. He is extremely helpful. He spoke English so that was really helpfull for all! He helps the kids with their homeworks all the time. He also have a long schedule.  We get to hang out with him and his family. We have good talks with him and we share our beliefs to him. When we say goodbye i saw in his eyes how much he care for us. I was really happy to meet Esteban and his family.

Please pray so that he would stay and keep working in COVI. He started working a week before we were there and he already was looking for a new job because COVi didnt have enough money but i know God can make a miracle and make him stay!

Also pray for them so that God would mold them and shape them the way he wants them to be. Pray for all of them so that they would know the Lord more and more and have a deeper relationship with him!

Kids in COVI (Kids at risk).
They were the most amazing kids. The first week I thought they didnt like us! We play with them and they didnt seem that receptive about us but after the first few days they actually started to open to us and they wanted our attention! It was so awesome to see how much love they had for us after that first week.

This month was the first month we had an schedule. We wake up had breakfast leave the house ( which by the way there were about 4 teams ).
Take the bus and arived at the school at 10 am. Team tonka split and each one a different task every day! One was in the kitchen, two were helping with homeworks and the rest were cleaning or playing with the kids we did tht until lunch time. Before linch time we always read a story from the bible, memorize a bible verse and pray. Then they left to school and another group would come. And we would do the same, but the most important thing is that we would be sharing the love of Christ through us.

We would also would do some skits for them. We basically did the same in  peru which the kids love them again!

COVI is a safe enviroment for kids that have a rough life. God is doing amazing things and it was a priviledge to be able to work in there for a month sharing Gods love for them.

Also one of my favorite things we teach them was that God is supernatural and gives us supernatural seeds so that we can have a supernatural tree in us. It doesnt matter how hard we try to get the fruits of the spirit, we need to be in a constant relationship with the Lord so that we can take that treein us. A SUPERNATURAL TREE with different types of fruit!

What did I experience personally this month?
Also this was a really hard month for me personally! But the Lord was so FAITHFULL and he show me this verse:
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19. The Lord reveal this verse to me and it was not a coincidence.

GOD THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH challenge me in TRUSTING HIM!
This month I doubt so much of HIS PROVITION! LIKE IF HE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO MOVE A MOUNTAIN RIGHT! I DOUBT AND FIGHT, I fight feelings and doubts of provision, it got to a point that I wanted to go home and leave the race, I was at $7200 and I needed to make $11000 by the end of the week! I was so scared and God brought me into a point that I broke into tears in my room and just cry, cry for hours asking for his provision, and know that I look back God probably was just molding me for something bigger. I pray and pray and by the end of that week the Lord provided not only that amount, the amount that I wanted, he did a better job and at the end of the week he provided $12200. i was in shock of what he did and how he soften peoples hearts. I cry and cry and i was amazed by what he had done and he did it to show me that he CAN DO IT and he wants me to share HIS KINGDOM in places that I never thought I would go EVER! So its my priviledge to say thank you! RIGHT NOW I just need $2400 and i have peace and trust in him!

Thats me learning how to walk step by step so that I can show his kingdom in the most beautiful and perfect way, trusting him in every way. 🙂
