As life on the race is ending, I wanted to write some prayer requests so the world can continue praying for what I have seen and been apart of this year. God is so big, but just because I leave a country does not mean I should forget about the people or the ministry or what still needs to be done..

Kenya-pray for the orphans we met and the families in the village that have to daily make the decision to buy food or medicine for their sick children. Pray for provision and for God’s healing hand on the sick. Pray for the orphans have the opportunity to continue in their education and a hope for a future. Praise God for Mama Catherine, who has dedicated her life to educating and loving children who otherwise would not be.

Uganda-pray against spiritual warfare and demonic possession. Pray for the kids at the orphanage, that they can literally receive their daily bread. Praise God for the faith the children have, it is some of the strongest faith I have ever seen and felt.

Rwanda-pray for the people who survived the genocide. Pray for hope for the survivors, hope that they would seek Jesus and find him in spite of the hardships they have seen and endured. Praise God for growth and change, that Rwanda is truly a changed nation and they no longer live in hatred among their brothers.

Philippines-pray against the need for women to sell their bodies as their only alternative to income. Pray against the cultural acceptance towards homosexuality/transgender practices. Pray for the feeding program, that it would continue to reach the people who need help. Pray for the children there, for them to grow up knowing God no matter what their home life looks like-a street, an orphanage, an abusive home, a loving family.

Thailand-pray against prostitution. Pray for Phuket, for the women in the bars and for the people who come to visit the women in the bars. Pray against sex tourism. Pray that the streets of Phuket will crumble, that the bars will go out of business and the women will have to find other ways to get money-even if it is not as convenient. Pray for a change in culture/government acceptance. Praise God that there are people who have dedicated their life towards this vision, that there are warriors who want to fight this fight and are passionate about God’s people.

Malaysia-pray against the bondage of religion as a whole. Pray for freedom. Pray for tolerance and acceptance among different cultures and people groups. Praise God for persecution-for when persecution comes, God’s miracles and work spreads like wildfire. Pray that Christianity would spread in Malaysia like the early church in Acts.

China-pray for the government, that they would embrace how the church is at work in their country. Pray that it would not be acceptable for children to be easily tossed aside or thrown out or forgotten about. Pray for the children who are born with disabilities, pray that culture would see them as people and see their need for love. Praise God for how the church is growing in China.
