Last weekend over 250 young adults launched from Atlanta Ga to go to the nations and make disciples of the people of the world. Launch weekend consisted of extra training on presenting the gospel message, saftey training and teachings that will help us make the most of our World Race journey. Many of the racers came to launch in a sort of twilight zone condition. Actually being at this point in the process was unreal for us. I honestly didnt even believe I was actually on the race until my team stumbled upon a street market in China. Launch was overwhelming at times as well. Tjere was so much going on and we were learning so much that time with God did not happen. For all of you out there that think missionaries and pastors have thean easy time being with God, you mare mistaken. It is a daily fight to have alone time with God. Something that doesnt change with your location or occupation. Time with God will be essential not only to my ministry this year but will be imperitive to my personal spiritual health. Pleasre be praying that The Lord would give me eyes tosee the opportunities for time alone with Him and that I would see Him in the daily grind of ministry. Anyway, this blog is about launch. We were in Atlanta from Friday Septemeber 6th until the 10th. We flew out of Atlanta on that tuesday and landed in Seol, South Korea on wednesday. It was a 14 our flight followed by a 2 hour flight into Beijing. We stayed at a hostel for the night and continued our traveling with a 19 hour train ride to Harbin, China where our ministry contact lives. We are finally settled in our hostel for the month and will being ministry tomorrow monring. Thank you all for praying for safe ttravels for my squad. We all made it to China safely! Please keep us in your prayers as we begin ministry.
