Ok, so before we get to the epic-ness of light sabers…

The other night I woke up having to go to the bathroom and so I
did…obviously. Anyways, when I got back into bed, I checked the time
and it read 4:46 a.m. I immediately felt Holy Spirit prompt me that
there was meaning to these numbers, so I started thinking of what. I
thought of maybe Philippians, but immediately like, ‘there’s no chapter
44:6 in Philippians’. I checked the Psalms, but that verse didn’t make
sense for Holy Spirit to prompt the search…

The light bulb clicked on and so I went to Philippians 4:4-6 (yeah, I
should stop second-guessing myself, goodness). Anyways, it reads:

‘Rejoice
in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be
known to all         men. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
prayer and supplication, with             thanksgiving, let your
requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus.’ (oh and verse 7).

                                                      Rejoice! (In Spanish)

In the comprehensive notes to this passage in my Bible, there is a part
that talks about gentleness being someone who manifests a calmness of
spirit (probably still working on that) and that a person who is gentle
is willing to sacrifice their personal rights to show consideration to
others (still working on this part too, I think). Anyways, these verses
and what God showed me totally came into play Friday with things going
on, so I’m guessing God needs me to work on that gentleness for sure.

Kevin and I battling.

Ok, ok…on to the good stuff! Today, (Saturday), as we were waiting to
go to the harvest fair with the McDaniel’s (the family who run the home
orphanage), I began an epic battle with Kevin using light sabers (he’s 9
and will be 10, March 2
nd).
Obviously, they are toys, but still it was so fun and at one point
after he took one of my legs off (pretend people, I still have both my
legs for real) I began hopping after him and got him good, which led to
him starting to laugh and saying that I hop like a rabbit or a kangaroo
because I still got to him quickly. HA!! I couldn’t stop laughing at
that one or from the whole thing. Cool eh?

Yeah, I know that part has nothing to do with the gentleness aspect,
but it was still hilarious and the title totally got you to read
this…just sayin’! 😀

I love you all and miss everyone! (Alijah, get a light saber…wink wink).

*Note
to self: I owe Kevin a light saber, since one of his broke today…not
my fault, but I still feel bad…he whacks with the Force…it’s crazy! Also, when battling, do not do it by stairs, lest you almost fall down the stairs like me. Hahaha!!
