This week our squad has spent a lot of time thinking and discussing our life vision and it’s been so incredible! Getting to hear a lot of my squad mates visions and dreams for their lives has been so encouraging and exciting. Mainly because we have explored our God given desires and how we can walk them out daily. And then getting to see them come to fruition later in life, man it’s so cool. While we have been in this process, we have also explored what we as individuals hold as our core values. And it was kind of a difficult task trying to take so many things that I value and narrow them down to about 5 overarching values. It was really amazing though to be able to get to the end of it and really see what are the top things that I value in life and how they are unique and God given desires.
So, my top 5 are: Fullness, Understanding, Grace, Adventure, and Simplicity. If you would like to know more about why those are my core values, feel free to call me or email me!
So yeah, dreams, vision and values for our life are so important! And I go back to Proverbs 29:18 “ “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.” Or in another sense, “People without vision perish.” So vision is important and there is a daily way in which we can pursue those visions and goals and dreams. And it starts with asking God what is the one way in which I can step more into the vision you have set down in me.
