An old friend of mine once told me to slow dance with the Lord. She told me to place my feet gently on top of His and to let Him slowly guide me through this fast paced life we live. I never understood the beauty in this scenario until now. I never knew the peace that would be released upon me if I had just listened to her. Now, I’m sitting on my bed, after a 7 hour shift, pondering on this and this is what the Lord has placed on my heart. From Him to us.

My beloved son/daughter,
Slow down. Stop trying to live a life that doesn’t come close to satisfying your heart in the way that only I can. Let your heart wander the fields and valleys that I have put before you but let your curiosity lead to me. Walk with confidence that you are loved by me. Let the oceans and the skies and the snow and the sun be a reflection of who I am and who you are in me. Let every hug remind you of my embrace.
I am with you. If you let go of me 19 times, I will hold on to you 20. I will never stop chasing after you.
Nail your burdens to the cross that I gave my life on and walk away from them. The battle you’re trying to fight has already been won by me. Live in the freedom that I have offered to you. Be reminded of my grace every morning when the sun rises and rest when it sets. Rest in the comfort of me.
You are more than your accomplishments, your failures, and your struggles. You are my child, and I make no mistakes. You have purpose, seek me and I will reveal it to you.

Wow. I am so amazed at the unconditional love the Lord pours out on us day after day. These words He placed on my heart have carried me today. You are fully seen and fully loved!!!!!!
