Month 1 Week 3, Costa Rica

Hello everyone, welcome to part 2 of my on field blog!!! Sooooooo to start off, week 3 has been a beautiful blessing! We went back to the prison and planted literally 100 plants which was super cool, and today we worked with a bunch of amazing 8 year olds; sadly the Spanish I learned off of Dora the Explorer failed me and it was super hard to talk to them but the random and intense games of rock paper scissors I played over and over were a ton of fun! The kids were super sweet and it gave me so much joy to watch them run up and hug me.

Also, today we worked with a wonderful ministry team from Georgia who were honestly some of the sweetest people I think I have ever met! They told me everything I needed to hear and reminded me that I’m worthy enough to be here. Two of them were kind enough to give me these cross necklaces and told me,”My journey ends on Saturday but you still have a while to go”, then they told me to find someone along my journey that I believed to need it more and pass it off. So stay tuned because I’ll post about it when I do! We’re supposed to see them again on Friday so yay for that!  Also I will be posting pictures soon I just found out how to download pictures on my camera to my computer and I’m not really a technologically advanced person so it took me a little bit. Haha
