I am so so pumped I get to experience the World Race Gap Year and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
My first ever mission trip was during my freshman year of high school. I went to Haiti to help build water filters in the wells and teach a class for the women to know the basics of having a business. My second trip was to Ventanilla, Peru with Para Peru during my sophomore year. There, we did carnivals and went to different villages and shared stories about Jesus.
Traveling is something I have always loved and getting to see the world has always been a dream! I love learning about different cultures and getting to see the beauty of God’s creative work in all people, places, and things. It is crazy to think that I am preparing for my dream to come to life. GOD IS GOOD!!!
Here is just a little bit about myself: I am born and raised in Waco, Texas and live with my parents, younger sister, and my loving golden doodle, Barney, whom I love all so dearly. My hobbies include, singing or anything music, spending time in nature, going on spontaneous trips with friends, going to get ice cream (I could do this every single day.. it’s a problem.) And I love volleyball or doing anything to stay active.
I’m so excited to see what the Lord teaches me through this journey preparing for 9 months on the field and I cannot wait for all of you to be alongside this experience with me!
