Hello There!!!! My name is Colleen, but most of my friends and family just call me Coll. I am a 17 (soon to be 18) year old who is a senior at Upper Moreland High School, outside of Philly. I enjoy learning and am super involved at my school through tons of different extra-circulars! My favorites are being a part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Varsity Swim Team, and the Drama Company. In between all my activities, I love hanging out with my friends, and playing board games with my family.
I’m obsessed with the Greatest Showman, hippos, and sharing Jesus with people! I am a really bad speller, so that is your warning, haha. I love to laugh and dance and I really try to come into every situation with a positive attitude. I am really loud, and I mean REALLY loud! Yelling is one of my main talents. I love talking to new people and putting myself out there. I strive to love everyone and make sure each and every person in the room feels included!! I truly believe that we were made to thrive, not just survive and I try to live that out everyday. I am usually really bad with staying committed to a journal, so I am going to work hard to maintain this blog through out the next few months, and the entire race.
I come from a family of six, and am the third oldest child out of four. I love my siblings with all my heart and am not quite sure how I’m going to survive the next nine months without them and my loving parents!
After the race, Im committed to attend Wheaton College where I plan to double major in Christian Eduration and Spanish and then get my masters in elementary education. My dream job is too work over seas in an orphanage as a teacher.
I am soooo excited that God is leading me on this crazy, exciting, scary journey with Adventures in Missions!! I can’t wait to wake up everyday on the missions field where my only goal will be to serve the Lord, those around me, and give all the glory to God.
