Hey Friends and Family!
Check out my video about what I learned this past month in South Africa!
I have LOVED South Africa. It is very similar to America, which I miss, and I am sad to leave. The people here have treated us like family and so taken care of and loved us well. My team had a married couple as our host that treated us like their kids, and we had a couple next door that treated us like their grandkids. The church family and Bible college in Heidelberg was also very welcoming and made our experience feel like home. Being on an all girls team this month has been fun as well.
I leave for Nicaragua on March 25th and have a layover in New York City and will be able to spend some time in the city.
I read this quote yesterday and liked it and wanted to share it with you for encouragement. 🙂 I also thought it was kind of comical too, because mosquitos seem to love me.
“If you think you are to small to make a difference, you haven’t spent a night with a mosquito.” -African Proverb
Keep your head up. You can change the world just by changing the way you treat the person in front of you!
Blessings,
Amanda
