Hello! Many of you may know me and some of you may not, so I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Mary Korch, and I am originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have been working toward an economics degree at Creighton University in Omaha and will be graduating in May of 2018. Currently, I am the female Resident Advisor for the Freshman Leadership Program, and during my time at Creighton I have been an Executive for Inter-Residence Hall Government, worked for the SCSJ (Creighton’s social justice office), a member of the President’s Round Table, and have participated in business leadership programs. I am incredibly excited to take on the World Race next year. Here are some fun facts about me:
- I love talking about anything related to economics
- I ice skated for ten years before moving to college
- When I find some free time, I like to paint my nails or canvases for my dorm
- The World Race will be my first time traveling internationally
- When I am at home in the summer, I like to do archery or really anything outside
