Dear Friends and Family,
This year I have been given the amazing opportunity to go on a 9-month missions trip. I have prayed and thought about it a lot and have decided to go and serve the Lord in whatever way I can. I will be backpacking the entire time during this 9-month journey. This will be quite interesting for me since I have not been able to do a lot of camping and now I will be living out of a backpack, fortunately the World Race is giving us a lot of tips on how to prepare. I will be leaving in September of 2018 and will be returning in June of 2019. I will be traveling to Costa Rico, South Africa, Thailand, and Myanmar with a World Race team. This is a gap year program where I will be traveling to the countries to help the communities and to spread the gospel. I will be able to help disciple many people around the world and help bring them to the Lord. In each country we will be acting as support for existing missionaries already at work in those cultures.
This is an amazing opportunity but I will need your help. My greatest needs are prayer support and financial support. I would appreciate your support through prayer, that the people we work with will have softened hearts ready for the gospel, that we would truly be a help to the missionaries that we visit, and for me personally as I will be facing so much that is unknown. We have been informed that some of the places we visit are plagued by human trafficking and other third world conditions such as extreme poverty and poor sanitation. The support that I raise will provide me with the ability to go on this mission’s trip, pay for my travel across the world, and pay for the projects we perform. I am incredibly excited to see how God will work in and through me and my team to fulfill His purpose. Matthew 28:19-20 tells us to go and make disciples of all nations and to teach others what he has commanded us. My prayer is that through this trip I will also grow closer to Him. Your support and/or prayer would mean a lot to me. Thank you for any way you feel God leading you to help. Due to IRS and ECFA regulations governing the administration of tax deductible donations given in support of a particular trip/program, support contributions given on behalf of an individual will be used to offset the costs of the trip/program you are involved in. All contributions are non-refundable regardless of the participant’s success in completing the program.
