Hey y’all!
I am writing this blog to sort of explain what gonna be happening next October!
What: I’m going on the World Race (if you haven’t already figured that out 
)! The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries all over the world. I will be travelling with a group of around 50 people and then we will be divided into teams of about 6. Rest easy, Mom, I won’t be by myself!
Where: The “where” is subject to change (God is always moving!) but as of right now my route is as follows:
- Chile
- Bolivia
- Paraguay/Argentina
- Cambodia
- Thailand
- Serbia
- Romania
- Bulgaria
- Ethiopia
- Rwanda
- Uganda
What I will be doing: All sorts of things! Anything from construction, teaching English, holding bible schools, ministering to orphans, sharing Jesus! I don’t know specifically what we will be doing but I do know we will be doing God’s work. I’m going into this with an open mind and an open heart and am willing to do whatever He is calling us to do!
Why am I doing this: I was called to! God has called me to use my gifts, talents, and abilities to further His Kingdom all over the world. But believe me, I still have moments of doubt when I think I won’t be good enough to do this. That I won’t be able to make it 11 months without seeing my friends and family, that I won’t be able to find the right words to say to a mother that can’t afford to feed her family. But I know that God is God and He will be with me my entire journey.
What you can do to help: This is the part that I don’t enjoy; asking for help! But I cannot do this alone. I ask for your prayers. For me, for the people I will meet along the way, the countries I’ll be visiting, the ministries we’ll be working with, and for the funds I need to raise to go. This trip does cost and I cannot personally pay for the entire thing myself. If you feel the Lord is leading you to give, please donate!
