I’ve been back in the United States for almost a week now and part of me feels like I never left.

Like this past year was a dream.

But then I look at my wrists and the bracelets that represent different countries or at the articles of clothing from around the world that populate my closet and I know that it really happened.

Or I notice how Wendys is in a new location, or how the Waterfront Stadium has been remodeled.

Little things that indicate that time has passed.

And, then there is this list of statistics that I’ve been keeping for the past year on my phone.

Not to mention the 8,066 photos on my phone.

Statistics that say I was in THIRTEEN different countries over 321 days.
