A few weeks back a sweet family invested into the World Race and gave me a check. Along with the check, they told me that their 12-year-old son, Connor, approached them and let them know that he wanted to tithe his money towards my trip. In an envelope with a check and a card, there were four Jefferson two-dollar bills, marked “for your trip, from Connor.”
WOW! I wish I could fully describe the pure joy that flooded my body and heart as I sat and smiled that Connor at the age of 12 wanted to give towards the World Race. I have placed these four special bills in a place were I constantly look at them as I send out emails, make calls, and pray over supporters and potential supporters.
I will hold onto this precious memory as I continue to raise support and prepare for the World Race!
Thank you Connor for blessing me in many ways and investing into the World Race and most importantly into God’s kingdom.
Currently, I am in New Orleans celebrating my Gam Gam’s 80th birthday! As I step back for a week to relax and spend quality time with family, I am grateful for the numerous ways family, friends, and followers have contributed to the World Race!
