Dear Family and Friends,
I hope that this letter finds you well! As many of you know, this past month I graduated from high school and this coming fall I will be doing something unconventional. I’m embarking on the World Race: Gap Year with an organization called Adventures in Missions. The World Race will take me to five different countries in nine months. Along with seven or eight other people, God will use our team to help with construction, conduct Vacation Bible Schools, build relationships with orphans, pray for the sick and meet other needs as God leads us. Some days will be spent walking through towns praying over people, grocery shopping, or even cooking meals for the hungry.
I will be traveling to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ethiopia, Nepal, and the Philippines. This is a great opportunity for me to grow spiritually and culturally. This nine month trip begins in September of this year and will return in May of 2017. As you can imagine, this is a big, life-changing, commitment.
I cannot express my gratitude for the Lord’s calling in this adventure, and I have no doubt that when He calls He also provides. I am humbly asking if you would consider partnering with me in prayer, specifically for the communities and ministries I will be visiting, my team and my travels. I am also in need of financial support as well. I must raise $14,800 for this ministry opportunity, which will cover all of my expenses while in the field.
