Hello Everyone!
A lot had happened since I last wrote. I quit my jobs, packed up my bags, and have been in Georgia for the past 5 days spending time time with my team which has been so incredible!
We spent three days at a place they call “the farm” living together and getting to know each other. Tim and Karen opened up their home to us, they work with Adventures and they have created such a beautiful space surrounding their home. The farm has a wrap around porch, chicken coop, flowers, the most beautiful butterflies surrounding the garden. It was seriously incredible!
They opened up space for us to seek God and seek each other and figure out how, in just two days from now, we are going to start leading a group of racers.
We had the chance to vision cast, talked about what are things that the Lord wants to give away to the squad. We sought the Holy Spirit on different things that we can grow in and talked about things we are passionate about that we want to teach and show the squad.
It is crazy how vulnerability brings so much depth and closeness to a group of people. We are all choosing to step out in vulnerability and trusting God that he will equip us to lead L squad.
It has been such a sweet time since arriving in Georgia and time is already flying by! I am so thankful for the opportunity to get to know my team in a home setting, I feel like that made such a difference for me!
I will post a picture of everyone once everyone gets here on Friday, and tell you a little bit more about each one of them!
