The other night I got off work and was driving to church talking to my mom on the phone (She was on speaker and both of my hands were on the wheel)… When out of no where a deer jumped in front of my car, this wasn’t just any deer it was Bambi’s Uncle on steroids…. All I remember is that I saw a deer to my left and then looked to the right and saw a deer crouched down ready to jump in a split second I thought to myself don’t swerve just hit it. I then saw it jump (body right in front of the nose of my car) I screamed and then I hit it! I ran over it with no hesitation. My mother was on the other line when it happened
Mom: What happened?
Me: I ran over a deer.
Mom: You what?
Me: I ran over a deer!
Mom: You ran over a deer?
Me: Yes, I ran over a deer
Mom: What? Are you ok? Is there any damage to the car?
Me: Yes, and I don’t know, I don't think so.
Mom: What do you mean you don’t know.
Me: I am still driving.
Mom: Your still driving? Well pull over and see if there is any damage. Was it a small deer?
Me: Ok, No it was a big deer. I’ll pull over to see….. Lord please don’t let there be any damage to my car.
~ I finally pulled over to where there was a street light and got out of my car and looked all I could do was laugh. There was hardly any damage to my car. There was a small maybe two inch crack on the left side of my bumper with hair in it. MY CAR IS RIDICUOUSLY ANOINTED! There was NO DAMAGE! I said God you awesome and then got back into my car and continued the conversation with my mom on the phone like nothing happened. When I got to church I had forgotten all about the deer. In the middle of worship the Lord hit me with so many revelations it was crazy!
He told me “I am your protector” “The enemy can not touch you! He tried to kill you tonight but you are mine and I am your protector.” “This is just the beginning of your story” “The enemy tried to scare you but do not fear for I go before you, I pave the way for you. I am in control. I am your Protector” “The world race is just the beginning of our story together, I have so much more planned for you.” “The enemy will not touch you! You will come back Spotless!” “I will take care of you trust me my darling I go before you.”
~ I then pictured my self as a little girl in a white dress with blue trimming standing beside and slightly behind my Daddy dancing and skipping along as we walk together on this glorious walk way with flowers and sunshine beside and all around us. Then I zoom out and look at the bigger picture the REAL picture. While I am dancing and just following my Daddy wherever He goes unaware of what is truly going on. My Daddy is walking slightly in front of me actually swatting away all of these dark images away with His bare hands like its nothing to protect me. He is fighting for me while I am dancing and skipping behind Him not knowing what He is actually doing.
~It was a crazy revelation! It is so true! I acted oblivious to what really happened I could have DIED! A deer jumped out in front of me. Soooo many people die every day from accidents involving deer. And I just got back into my car and went on with my life like nothing happened not in a conceded way but as in a way a little girl is confident and comfortable around her Daddy. Little girls feel safe and empowered when they are around their Daddy who is their protector and encourager. I just simply went on my way knowing that my Daddy was in control but not to the extent until after my revelation!
~If we come as little children then we come to Him with full confidence and trust that He is taking care of us. If we are striving to bring Kingdom to earth then we are making the enemy mad (if we are doing it right) and the enemy is trying in every way to get at us but our Daddy stands in front of us to protecting us and sheltering us in every way! REMEMBER HE IS OUR PROTECTOR! HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU! COME AS A CHILD!
