Ready, Set, Launch!
Hey Everybody! I’m sorry for not posting a blog in a long time. Fundraising and packing has kept me busy. So, quick update! I’m currently in Atlanta, Georgia for Launch. It’s my last day in the U.S. before I leave for India. I leave in a few hours time. I’ll tell you about how awesome India is when I get there. Anyways, Launch has been pretty awesome!
During this time God has been doing some incredible work in me and within my team. He’s called to attention some areas I need to surrender and grow in. He’s stripping me down and humbling me. He’s reminding me of my identity and worth in Him, so that I can go out and share that with others. He is constantly reminding me to step out with boldness and not fear, because He’s given me a spirit of love, power, and discipline. There is no room to fear when filled with His perfect love, because perfect love casts out fear. He’s breaking chains and pouring in truth to replace the lies. He’s teaching me what it looks like to walk in freedom with Him. It’s easy to use freedom for our own selfish desires, but it’s beautiful when we use it to die to self and let Christ live out through us. He’s teaching me to trust in His provision.
That is one I’ve had a hard time with, not that all of these things aren’t still a daily lesson. I still have a significant amount of funds to raise for me to finish out this trip. In the midst of my desire to be funded, I’ve been reminded who my Papa is. The creator of the universe has an abundance for us. He’s not lacking in the ability to provide. He is more than capable. He will provide. He called me into this journey and I’m so excited to follow Him wherever He calls.
