Hey All!
God is so GOOD! As I have been fundraising for my trip, I have felt so many emotions: Happiness, nervousness, being unsure, stress, relief, frustration, overwhelmed and excited. Through all these emotions I kept forgetting to go to God with them, to go to Him in my time of stress, frustration, and even happiness. I kept forgetting that through all of this I am not alone. For my 18th birthday I received a ring that says ” If God brings you to it, HE will bring you through it” and that brings me so much peace. God has brought me to this mission for a reason, and He will not leave me. In Isaiah 41:10 it says ” fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Through this journey of fundraising He will help me, He will uphold me, and He above all will provide.
My first deadline is June 17th, CRAZY right?!? Time is just flying by and before I know it, it will be time to take off. With that I need to have $5,000 fundraised by the 17th, at the moment I am at $300. That is not including what I have raised through bracelet sales, which by the way is doing AMAZING! I also ordered some awesome T-shirts that should be in ANY DAY, so stay tuned for some awesome soft T’s! Deadlines are closing in but my God is in control, I have full faith that it will all come in. With that scripture comes to mind, Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” My God’s got this and with that I will not worry.
