I went to REI today with Natalie and Becky (two alumni racers) along with a gal Alyssa, who is on my sister squad! We had a blast rolling around on sleeping pads, cocooning ourselves into sleeping bags; trying on packs and learning about all the gear we are going to be investing in for our 11-month adventure around the world. Man do I need to buy a lot of stuff! I’m not going to lie I am a little overwhelmed. I know God will provide, it is just a lot!
