I
would have to say that The Biggest Loser is my preferred show to watch. My friends think its funny because I
usually watch this show while eating chips and drinking a coke. I obviously don’t watch this show to
motivate myself to eat healthy or workout more. I love the concept of this show. The people that are chosen on this show are overweight but
more they are insecure, hurt, they don’t believe in themselves and are afraid
of failure because that is how they see themselves. Each person has a different story of why they look they way
they look. Some because their
parents were overweight and they have become their parent, some because they
have lost family members and they turned to food because it made them feel
better. The stories are absolutely
heartbreaking but my favorite part of this show is their transformation.
Throughout
the show I get to watch them walk through this transformation. At times they don’t look like they are
going to make it. It being too
hard or they don’t believe in themselves quite yet. But they step out. They are broken, their heart tells them they can’t do it anymore but
then they see they have nothing to lose. Either they continue to walk on this path of obesity and lose their life
or they take this step of FAITH would explain it best. I can’t help every time I watch this
show that is missing some Jesus. It is so true. These people
are lost, hopeless and about to lose their life. They know something is out there they
need. Whether they believe in themselves or
not they decide it is the only way it is going to save their life. So they take this step of faith. The process is hard, questionable
quitting times but love the results they get each week and the process turns
into transformation. They began to
believe in themselves and they become themselves.
And I can say I have walked through that same transformation
and get to watch people through this same transformation. The World Race. They are at home living their
life. Some believing in themselves
but most knowing there is more. And they take the step of FAITH and go on TWR. When they get here they see in themselves things they would
rather not believe. But knowing if
to become fully alive in Christ they have to walk through the process. It being hard or questionable quitting
times but the Lord reveals new things in themselves each day and it is worth
the process. Then before they know
it the process turns into transformation.

This is my life. So I have taken a hold of my life and I
am walking in my destiny. And I am
here watching 61 racers take the step of the unknown and walk into their
destiny. They have nothing to
lose. It is and becoming a
beautiful revelation of His radical, zealous, outrageous love for them and
myself.
So I am asking these racers and I
am asking you, are you broken today? Has your heart been damaged? Are you crying out for more? Are you asking the wrong questions? Wherever you are. There is more. Take the step of FAITH. Find more of yourselves and walk in it. WALK IN TO YOUR DESTINY.
