Hey everyone! Here is the final update on Boo and Wit’s restaurant as well as the glasses for Mongkhon!
Painting went well, despite challenges with the language barrier as we bought paint. We were able to paint the restaurant area and outside wall of the building in just under 6 hours. We went from 7pm until 12:45am and had a blast doing it. We scraped down walls and cleaned grease that had made it’s home on walls for about 10 years in order to paint. Dedicated and joyful teamwork lasted straight through! We were able to be witnesses of joyful Christlike servanthood to not only Boo and Wit but also neighbours as they came over, curious as to why 6 random white kids were painting this restaurant. I think we made an impact. An impact though that we may never see but we trust the prayers we said while working were not in vain.
Anyways, enough of that. I’m proud of each one of my teammates for working so hard and being so great. Truly they have each been a blessing to me and those surrounding them.

On a more business side of things, we ended up raising 3481 Baht toward this project with a paint cost of 3090 Baht. This leaves us with 391 Baht remaining. The team and I are checking on the cost of a sign for the shop as they don’t have one. Our contact thinks it will be around 500 Baht so we will be putting the remainder towards it. Give God a hand for His provision here!
As for the glasses for Mongkhon go, we needed 3300 Baht, we got… 6667 Baht! So praise God for that as well! We will be going to get glasses on February 2nd with Mongkhon, which he is VERY excited for! We have some great ideas for the remainder of the money so that we can continue to bless Mongkhon. He would really benefit from some furniture like a bookshelf and a table. These either don’t exist or hardly do. However, before we make that decision we will be praying about that. Please be in prayer yourselves asking the Spirit to lead us with this money He has provided for Mongkhon.
Lastly, thank you to each and every one of you for supporting these amazing people that we’re blessed to live around. You’ve truly impacted the Ratchaburi community and our neighbourhood!
